PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Kraft Mechanical Completes Multi-Year Renovation and Expansion at Jordan Elementary and High School

PROJECT SCOPE:

Kraft has completed a 2-year project at Jordan Elementary and Jordan High School. Summer 2024 work included Renovation of the area C wing along with a 7 classroom addition creating a new area D. work at the high school included installing a new safe entrance and office check in. Winter work at the elementary school added a new gym with storm shelter area, new cafeteria, offices and kitchen. The final phase of the project renovated the remainder of the building in areas A and B. Kraft Mechanical was the prime mechanical and plumbing contractor for the project. Sheetmetal Work included adding/ replacement of the majority of supply and return ductwork, grilles, registers, and diffusers through out the majority of the elementary school, providing (5) New RTUs, (1) Chiller (1) AHU, (37) exhaust fans, (67) VAV boxes, (2) kitchen hoods, Grease duct in the kitchen and fabric ductwork for the gym.

Piping work included adding/ replacement of the majority of the chilled/ heating water piping system at the elementary school, and replacement of (7) pumps, (1) boiler. (12) unit heaters and finned tube radiation.

Plumbing work including new underground/ above ground connections to the water, sanitary, and storm systems at the elementary school including providing (1) new water heater,  replacement of roof and floor drains, and replacement of over 200 plumbing fixtures.
